I've never spoken to him but he seems like a top, genuine bloke with a good few stories to tell - was interesting to hear say how tough a manager Cyril Knowles was and that he had 'broken' a few players with his harshness!!!

I'll be buying his book but why is he doing his signing session in the bookshop at Teesside Park, surely a Hartlepool-based shop would be a lot more successful\appropriate - also it's on a Saturday after lunch when the season has started, so we'll either be at the match or travelling away
