Hi, huddersfield fan here.Just read that you were at both games today and will be again tomorrow. Just wondering what you made of our performance today? Sounds from official reports that Hamilton looked more solid and played good football and could tell they had played together a lot.With our new signings still gelling it seems we werent quite up to the same standard...true? Who stood out for our side?

I thought Hamilton were the better team and deserved to win i was quite impressed with there right back. Having said that I have to admit none of your players actually stood out though I wouldn't be able to name any of them. I do believe that you wont struggle though whether good enough to challlenge for promotion/play off is another thing. This is based on the fact I dont know whether you were playing your strongest team of back up players if it was back up players then I would say you may well make promotion on the fact that players not played are better that the one's who played today. If your first choice team then possibly play off's.

So tell me who you played , your first team or back up if back up then Im having a few quid on you to go up.If you were playing players who , as you say need to gel then it depends on how quick they do it, if takes 1 or 2 games chances of promotion there if takes longer only play off's.

But as a whole from today I think you can look forward to a good season.

Well to be honest even our fans dont know what the first team is going to be. We didnt have Keigan Parker playing who will be first team, phil jevons might be first team and he was sub, Robbie Williams will be first choice left back and he was sub, Flynn and Goodwin were making their debuts, we are still to sign a left winger and a new striker and a right back. From what our fans have said, we didnt look bothered which is a bit worrying as we didnt at Bury either but i think Stan just wants them to get their fitness up.

On the team looking old comment we only had two players over 30 and that was Lucketti at centre back and Boothy up front.most of that team that started are mid twenties but we do lack pace throughout that team which is why you may have thought we looked old
