I made a special trip to the ground today to purchase a ticket to take advantage of the BOGOF offer for tomorrows game. I rang up first to ask when the ticket office is open and she said 9 till 5. So I headed down there at 10am only to find the ticket office shut because the staff were in a meeting. I explained to whoever the woman was that I'd made a special trip down, but she wasn't interested and I was told I'd have to come back later.

Its a different fecking problem everytime I go down there.

i went down at 10.45 and the meeting was clearly over as i got mine no probs. i think part of the problem is that if sharon isnt in the building the whole sysyem collapses.

you would find it very hard to believe tpp's story if you were not already familiar with the ticketing practice of pools. it s a bit like filling yr trolley at asda strolling to the checkouts and finding nothing there other than a big sign saying simply:

" welcome to the board we is shut. try tescos."

If this was a one-off then it wouldn't be so bad but every single time I go I have a problem but today was a piss take.

What is this sudden obsession with kids ages all about as well? My kids are nowhere near 16, do not look anywhere near 16, but they constantly ask me for proof of age, even suggested I get ID cards for them from the club when I went in last week

Does my head in banghead banghead banghead

lots of people used to buy tickets in advance for kids and use them to get in as adults.

Today Mark Simpson has contacted me and sorted the problem out. A top-notch effort from Mark (especially given that I've spend the last 6 months slagging most of his colleagues off). Much appreciated.

I can understand that for people around the age of sixteen but I have the same crap with my 9 year old daughter....she is 9, she looks 9 and she acts like a 9 year old so why the hell she should have to prove she is under 16 is beyond me......... banghead banghead
