Hello,

Just to let you know that edited highlights of the pre-season friendly between York City and Hartlepool United will appear on YouTube and on the York City Official Website on the afternoon of July 31st, the day after the game.

If for any reason you are interested in watching the host's previous friendlies thus far (against Leeds United, Barnsley and Middlesbrough) then go to http://www.ycfc.net and click on the "York City TV" link or, alternatively, go to http://www.youtube.com/user/yorktv

Hope this will be useful to you.

Cheers.

I miss our league clashes with York.
Friendlies are also better against teams you won't ever/have never played in the league - such as Blyth, or the other extreme like Hibs or someone.
Games against York should be league games.

Aye, its a crying shame that the likes of York and Halifax have gone west to be replaced by the Dagenhams and Cheltenhams of this world. At least Aldershot a back, a proper old fashioned fourth division club. All we need now is Workington and Barrow.

No it was a pre season friendly you fooking dullard.

I was thinking the last week as I watched the pier at Weston Super Mare burn into the sea that "I wish that was Brighton" I have previously had nothing against the place, the blame for my spiteful thoughts lie solely at your door.

A couple more examples of Pools' trademark comedy defending there!

All credit to York on their win and on their good support too.
