We are in the chase for an Irish Striker called Peter Thompson, already subject to a six figure bid by Stockport.

We keep getting linked to decent money signings without actually getting anywhere. I wonder if we do have £100,000 to spend on a striker or if it is just a case of looking like we are going for these players without actually having any chance of it.
