Sounds like good management too me, put him on the wing while he beefs up, learns his trade, fills out, finds his feet or whatever.

It does mean we need a right winger mind, if we play 4-4-2.

Definatley like to see Brown up front

Granted he was great on the Right Wing too, But up front Vs Swansea at The Vic last season he ran them all over, Till he got his injury... I think it was (Possibly he just came back from Injury and was nackered by 1/2 time)

With regards to needing a right winger : I'm pretty sure that Jones can play Right Wing also

I'd rather have a natural right winger, we've never had one since i've been watching pools.

Yeah I spotted that too. I reckon though that there's a good chance his comment will go straight over certain people's heads (or to be more precise, certain people will pretend he didn't say it).

I suspect that this is JB's last season with Pools. With him playing up front he'll get a hatful of goals which will bring him even more to the attention of the upper echlons. One people start offering in excess of £1m, a club like Pools have to be tempted even with IOR's input.

Of course they will. Any player truly worth a million is not only above our current standard but above any standard we're likely to achieve in the near future. We could spend half of it to replace him and buy a very good player for our championship campaign.

You misunderstand me mon ami. I wasn't complaining I was simply stating an opinion. I think it would be criminal to hold the lad back, especially when theres big bucks on the table.

just watching those highlights Brown looked the best Pools player on the pitch - twisting and turning, almost always beating his man. Shots on goal, mostly making the keeper work for his money - you can't ask more from a forward.
That left footed ball into the area 1st half should have had someone on the end of it!!!
From what I've seen Foley was getting knocked to the ground easily as usual - we can't be serious about using him. Barker or Porter with Brown every time.

Sorry, "do I bollocks".

What I said in no way contradicts or criticises what you said.

Why is the Bunker quoting direct comments from Danny Wilson? I can't see one twist or misquote to suggest that his comment means he wants to have David Foley's babies. This place is going down the pan!
