I don't think it is like!!!! confised confised

Just had this e-mail of a mate....

'If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can
notify the police by entering your PIN Number in reverse.
For example,if your pin number is 1234, then you would put in 4321.The ATM system recognizes that your PIN number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to the location.
This information was recently broadcasted on CTV by Crime Stoppers however it is seldom used because people just don't know about it.
Please pass this along to everyone.'

it is a load of tosh!!! It was an email scam circulating years ago.

Someone told me about it the other day and he would not acept that it was a practical joke. Nugget

As an aside I was going to withdraw cash from one of the asda machines the other day but they were getting closed down by the police as some people had money nicked from their bank accounts when using the machines!

Serves you and them right for going to scruffy Asda instead of shopping at Tesco or M&S.

Location: Probably in The Mowbray Pub, like.
Would be good if something could be implemented like that though.

Graves is right just a load of rubbish that was spread on emails a while back. Wouldn't work for me anyway as my card is the same both ways round.
