Yorkshire have been thrown out of Twenty20 for their ineligible player.

In effect, that should mean Durham are at the Rose Bowl for Finals Day.

Kent vs Durham meeting could be interesting.

Durham are going to play Nottinghamshire to determine who progresses to Finals day, depending on if the Yorkies appeal or not

I don't know how they can appeal. They fooked up, simple as. Durham would be disadvantaged by re-arranging them game. Only one conclusion for me.

Because they've done nothing wrong.

Because it's likely that in they have to play Notts it will be without the the two players they specifically signed for the Twenty20. The dates of the Quarter finals are set in stone they planned around those dates. Durham will suffer because of a clerical error by Yorkshire. Notts were knocked out fair and square they got thrashed by nine wickets, two overs from a 17 year old spinner certainly has no effect on the outcome.

Well if that is the case you are putting then the twenty20 match should of went ahead as normal on Monday despite the paperwork issues surrounding the former England u15 captain....... The reason there is so much twisting on is because if the end goal, under normal circumstances I'm sure most wouldn't give a shite....

Worst bowler on the day was the boy who has represented England at several junior levels but is not qualified to play for the mighty white rose (we have always had higher standards as the minor counties are fully aware). But this is beginning to look like a conspiracy - first Forest are promoted unfairly and now the county side are catapulted into the semis. Fine would have been enough here - after all we are not the first to transgress. Another result for the toffs.

The game should have gone ahead on Monday but, again that wasn't Durhams fault. You're right it's because of this Champions League guff.

Notts should not be getting a second chance they got fairly and squarely stuffed by Yorkshire. Notts are the only winners here.

Until Durham thrash them obviously!

Durham did alright on the bars the other night. They made at least 15 quid out of me with food, snacks and pints etc and no one had the decency to say that the match probably wasn't gonna be on.......
