Used to hate - nay detest - cricket a few months back...

Then I went to a Durham Dynamos Twenty20 match and got right into it.

I'm still not one for anything over 60 overs (yet) but I can enjoy the subtle strategy and appreciate the skill involved in the game a lot more these days.

notice how none of the Sith Africins applauded Peiterson when he got his 100?
neither did they applaud our batsmen of the field....

Even the Aussies are magnanimous when someone does well against them.

spirit of the game eh?!

I was going to post on here this morning that it was criminal for South Africa to bowl first on that wicket but I got distracted. Honest!

I was also going to put a bet on scoring 450+ but bottled it!

I have only just got into 20/20, I always preferred the Test Matches but the last few weeks I have taken a liking to it. If anyone fancies the 20/20 vs South Africa at CLS on 20th August then we may well have a bus on. About 10 of us going so far.

I don't recall him ever being much cop.

He's only really been in the team to make the quota up.

Unlucky for Bell. The first Englishman to be out on 199.

I bet Collingwood wishes he'd been so unlucky!!

When your lucks down ect... that was a shocker from Mr Bowden!
