Does this mean Dimi won't be coming back then? Or is this lad just a backup keeper?

We need a keeper...it's undeniable.

Lee-Barrett is cocky and incredibly inconsistent. Budtz is enthusiastic...and that's about it.

But I have to admit, whilst I'm all for watching youth become stars, we need a ready-made sturdy keeper right now for the very first game.

I don't want to get 12 games in and be chopping and changing the guy between the sticks all over again.

I know they say "never go back" and to be honest I don't really want Dimi back, but it's looking like the most sensible course of action right about now.

Same goes for a striker - we need a proven guy in now.

At least he wasn't recommended by George Young.

Does anyone know if he actually played for the bar-codes,
he doesn't exist (that I can see) on soccerbase

Oh brilliant - we've signed someone who doesn't exist.

He made one start for their reserves last season. Given and Harper were their first team keepers, with Fraser Forster as their main reserve keeper. Cook played in a 3-0 win against Bolton Reserves.

So weve signed there youth team goalie.

Of course. I wouldn't expect him to be anything else considering he's 19.

Thought i was seeing things, its not like the people on the bunker to knock a player before they have seen him play.

FFS some people on here would moan like little girls if we signed messi on a free, i think its obvious that wilson hasn't signed him as first choice, and is looking to the future.

New season, fresh start.

Get behind the lads for fooks sake. rolf
