Anyone seen the film?

I'm currently having my mind warped by the excellent book of the same name and wondered if the film version was worth checking out?

It's worth seeing if you're enjoying the book Yossarian, though I think the book creates images that are almost too terrible to be filmed. The image of Francie I had in my head was far darker and more damaged than the screen version.

Have you read/seen Perfume ?
I thought they made a better job of filming the unspeakable there, than they did with The Butcher Boy
