Can anyone help me.

I already have a 16ft x 8ft flag made from all of the old promotion / playoff flags that you once got from the clubshop. I am now going to extend this flag more incorporating all of the old club badges / logos onto smaller flags and attach them to the current one.

I have searched the internet for all of the old logos but have only managed to come across this one. has anyone got any of the old bages from previous years that they could supply in order for me to get these flags printed and attached for the coming season?

Hopefully some of you have the old logos (Stag with two blue lines behind etc) and i look forward to your replies!

Cheers,

Loyal

You should check with Mr Snowy first, as I believe he was responsible for the club's best badge (the 70s stag one), and he might want a photographer-style "Oi Gerroff" copyright message across it!

It was the teams badge, so it's everybodys badge if you're a Poolie... ..and it was the only Pools badge to fly at Wembley for a final ..... League Cup? did we make the last 16? ...someone had to tell me, I never knew.

As much merit as Snowy's and certain other designs have, I like the one with the actual town emblem on. There's something a bit Ganesha-like about it, with role reversal.

Now that, I would like as a badge on my Pools shirt (Ganesha that is). It may bring the team some good Karma as well.

Apart from the garry gibson one, graphic design comes to Hartlepool, they all are pretty poor, the current one the worst of all.

Snowy, just out interest and because your 1975 Pools badge is my favourite..how did you design it? Freehand I presume? And did you base the Hart on the Babycham Reindeer but "beefed up" a bit? It's a sight that takes me right back to my childhood.
I did draw it freehand , but the hart was adapted from a radiator badge on a Spanish truck, a make called an Ebro, just for the pose of the animal,...it was an utter twat to get right even though it looks so simple, it's all about proportion.

Remember having pools strip from 74/75 season, got in sports shop next to mariners fish shop in town centre, light blue and white stripes, sure it had a red triangle badge with the hart on.

Yes, like I said.....

"Thing is, Pools never wore that badge on a shirt.

In fact, they didn't have a badge on a shirt from 1959 onwards until Snowys effort in 75."

Were you not able to buy cloth badges and sew them on yourself though? sctatchinghead

I did that with 83/84's effort, even the shorts!! I looked more professional than Pools, 'cos they didn't have the badge on either shirt or shorts!!!

I wish I'd put the sew-on Snowy badges on them instead, like. I never likes that one of the leaping hart on the red football. It looked like I'd drawn it - and I struggle to draw matchstick men!!!
