Have you put the Palace 93 Highlights on Youtube or on something else yet.

Just seen the highlights on our Dad's damaged VHS.

I tell you what - Southall dived, didn't he ? He was nowhere near Shaw.

If that had been given against us, i would have complained.

That pitch was frozen rock solid, just like my fooking feet  It would have been easy for him to slip on that surface....so there.

I remember seeing myself on the match of the day highlights, I think it was after the penalty was scored and I was dancing/jumping up and down along the front of the millhouse terrace

I was on the Millhouse Terrace as well, in line with the front edge of the penalty area, and yes Southall dived, but I certainly didn't care. Shame the rest of the day was rubbish, I wrote my car off on the way home. Not paying enough attention, still on a high from the win, I braked to hard and skidded on the ice, into the back of another car just past Cameron's Brewery.

I skidded into the back of a car at Ipswich the year before!!! :uhoh: sadx
I was only doing about 15 mph, but just kept sliding and sliding despite squeezing the brakes gently for the previous quarter of a mile!!!One of them where you just know there's fuck all you can do but wait for the bump!!!

Should've sued the council for not salting the road. It's a stautory duty these days. They get a warning from the met office and they have to mobilise the gritters.

Was that the case in '93 though?

I was driving along Seal Sands road one winter, with compacted ice on the road, and went on a slide for a couple of hundred yards ending up on the wrong side of the road. Luckily there was nothing coming the other way at the time. The following night in similar conditions, I was driving along the same stretch and made sure I didn't do the same, especially as a chemical tanker was coming the other way. Talk about there but for the grace of God (If you believe in that sort of thing of course).

Maybe not on the same video, but if anyone's got the highlights against Sheffield United, I'd like to see that as well.

Thank you.
