For those fans of Love,

I just thought I'd let you know that Love Story, a documentary film reliving Love's career from their formation to their split and to Arthur Lee's return before his death has just been released on DVD and is available in HMV. It features Arthur Lee's last interviews and also interviews from Johnny Echols, Michael Stuart, John Fleckenstein and Snoopy. As well as archive interviews from the departed Bryan Maclean.

As well as interviews from Elektra Records head Jac Holzman, producer Bruce Botnick, The Doors' John Densmore and arranger David Angel.

I extremely recommend this.

Bit of a one-trick Pony our Arthur wasn't he? I mean, take the first side of Forever Changes out of the equation and you're not left with much. Much cult about not-a-lot?

You left with the other side of Forever Changes. Live and Let Live, You Set the Scene at the very least and if you're not impressed with these then you need a hearing aid as welll as glasses and then you'll look like Morrissey.

I have just bought it! An excellent film, with some great interviews and footage of Arthur Lee in particular.

Incidentally, I believe the film has been made/directed/produced by a Pools fan.
