Shame he didn't sign a height extension with the number of long balls he receives.

I have just cum in my pants at this exciting news. I cannot wait until the new season begins. He will absolutely terrorise opposition defences, just you wait (and wait, and wait and wait, and wait.......)

Remember we are only looking to sign players who are better than we already have !

So who can you think of, who is better than Foley (or should that be cheaper than Foley)

You lot wouldn't be happy if you didn't have something to moan/be sarcastic about, would you. Everyone knew ages ago that Foley had been offered a new contract. No one expected him to turn it down. Yes we want to sign players who are better than we already have, but as you are well aware Foley is not a new player. Of course the club are going to feature his signing on the official site, that's what it is there for. If they hadn't, you'd be having a go, asking if the club are to ashamed of admitting 'such a crap player' had been offered a new deal. bbolt

WHY THE FUCK HAVE WE RESIGNED HIM?

AAAAAAAAARGH it's only because we have Scunthorpe in the League Cup. As much as I'm sure his wages aren't huge, neither's his presence on the pitch. He's one of the few Pools players I have no time for.

I suspect that Foley will carry on as he has in the past, a 'squad' player who expends a lot of energy and perspiration, he will then fade quietly away, the head patters, assorted Empire loyalists and 'givehim a chancers' will look to the sky and say nowt and pooh pooh the subject when the subject is raised. ..... .

the Emperor's new clothes and all that......................
but there's also quite a few "blind loyalists" who won't defend this bloke...............

Foley will never make it as long as he is a bit part player. Coming on as a sub now and again and the occasional start will never see him improve. Its just Istead all over again.

If we have any sense we would ship him out on loan where he can get regular starts and beef up a bit. But since we have a clueless 'lovely lovely person' in charge then it wont happen.

For once I don't think this has anything to do with Wilson, no matter what Foley does, he'll always be a 4th division player

He isn't psychically weak, he's just too small sending him out on loan won't change that. To be that size and play in the football league you need to be exceptional, watching him against Forest towards the end of last season was an embarrassment, I felt sorry for the lad the way he was bouncing off Wes Morgan.

I probabaly agree, he might not be good enough no matter where he goes but playing him as a sub every 2 weeks aint going to do much for him or us. I really see little point in keeping him unless Wilson sees him as a regular starter.

Probabaly play him at centre back every week.

I cannot believe he is still at the club. If he's good enough, so am I.
