Just to prove that not all teenagers are scumbags. our 13 year old daughter was asked last week to be the face of the future youth scheme ,which is called MY PLACE, She had to go to the Historic Quay yesterday to a meeting with local councillors and government officials to ask for funding to develop more facilities for Brinkburn Youth club. My place will deliver £190m of Government capital investment for the next 3 years through grants of between 1 and 5 million. She will find out if her application is successful in October (I think) But whilst she was there (and being the gobby bugger that she is ) (don't know where she gets that from) She has been asked to be a young councillor and help with the design and decision making for the new ice rink on the marina.

The Old Jacksons Landing, It's gonna be a ice rink/gym/Cafe. But not sure when it will open.
