Just got back from Druridge Bay - about half an hours drive north from me. Two kids, mrs, dog, picnic, buckets and spades. Had a great day and built lots of sandcastles, moats and lakes. Then a carvery. Still seems odd there's no football to look out for

worked in garden for about three hours and then did the hallowed ground (headland) - tide out, sun out, breeze blowing - THE most beautiful place in the world at that moment.
