Are you two still going to the Saltburn folk festival? Or the Saltbum festival, as it's called in Folk Roundabout

Aye, it's 8th, 9th,10th August, Salty.
We normally got through for just a day with Mr and Mrs Frodraff, but we're thinking of staying overnight this time as we keep missing late night concerts.

I was having trouble posting and logging on too, but I'm all right now

Due to a previous DIY owner we're having to rebuild the house this year so we're doing weekends away instead of flying to the sun and are looking forward to Saltburn Folkiefest. Probably do Farmstay for accommodation.

Looking forward to spending some time with Mr & Mrs Grabec and hopefully get more time than just the day we've done previously.

I'm also hoping for a conducted tour of Saltburn-By-The-Sea if there's a prominent resident about to point out the highlights, especially the licenced ones, of the jewel of the North Yorks coast

Over our way there's the Middlewich boat and folk festival the weekend after next (13,14,15 June) which is a really good weekend, a good folk festival, loads of fringe events in every pub and lots of decorated boats on the canal right through Middlewich.

I hope you don't imagine Salty is going to give you a tour of Saltburn highlights? rolfl You must have got the wrong end of the stick.

But, possibly staying in town is a better bet than on a farm, ain't it? Handier, and you don't have to drive anywhere after lots of beers?

every sympathy for the rebuilding. I had it over a period of 2 years when I first moved into this house (ten years ago now). At least when wwe moved back in from the pub there was nowt to do, but it is annoying when a Kenny Everett-style Mr DIY character has inhabited the place before you. I'm urprised I didn't get electrocuted in the first 6 weeks!!!
