Pre season Scotland trip playing Morton on 17th July
and Falkirk on 19th.

York City on 30th and Rotherham on 2nd August. Not sure if they home or away.

Centenary Tournament at the Vic on 26th and 27th July with Huddersfield. Sunderland XI with another team to be confirmed shortly.

Club text is wrong web site says Scotland games are 15th and 17th just had 2nd text saying that.

Does that mean it cost me twice as much because of their mistake. banghead banghead banghead.

Maybe they reduce my season ticket price by the 25p

Not blaming Blunderland just saying we could have got a big club like York instead of Blunderland.

The trouble is that by agreeing to having Sunderland reserves/youth team in this mini tournament they have just lost half the potential crowd. I'd find it difficult to get motivated for a friendly but if it were against the likes of Darlo or Sheff Weds then I'd be interested. I suspect I'm not alone in that.

What happened to the 4 Clubs in the tournament all celebrating their centenaries....Huddersfield, Pools, Werder Bremen and a danish team I heard???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

Sunderland fecking reserves!!!!  banghead

Can't see too many people getting excited about this tournament like....I thought Pools could have really pushed the boat out for it seen as they've had 100 years to organise it!!!!

And why can't Sunderland send there first team to pools and a fringe team to other games.

After all we are neighbours and are celebrating 100 years.

Danny Calls Roy, alright Roy, fancy sending a team down for a 4 season tournament to celebrate our centenary, Roy "ok danny boy but its gonna be our reserves, already have the first team off abroad playing a few decent European teams"

Now danny could have said "feck off yer cheeky irish kent, its our centenary we are talking about"

Instead danny says, fine, cant wait, a sunderland x11, its certain to bring the crowds flocking in.
Pools feck up again, so unless they keep the prices down for the 2 days i.e. £10 for the 2 days i'd only open the cyril knowles

Say what you like about Newcastle but they've always sent a strong team here for friendlies.
Now I'm not denying Sunderland's right to send whatever the hell team they like, especially if they are being up front about it.
But by the same token we have the right to say no thank you.

Unlike meaningless photos in meaningless lounges, this is something I'm prepared to kick up a fuss about. Let's get this match called off.

Nah what they are thinking is that normally in a big game your bottle goes and you throw in the towel, so they are guaranteed a win to make pre season run a bit smoother.

I wish we could play you every week, not sure whether you could get sick of winning every week??? rolf rolf

thrilled thrilled thrilled thrilled
