It can't just be ONE song Dibble. For a start everyone has more than one favourite, second you would get sick of it.

But I don't think I know a song to beat 'Famous Blue Raincoat' by Cohen, tho some others might be very close seconds. I haven't got a clip of it

I'll take that Joe Mescalero thingy as my choice.

(Whatever I choose I'm going to be sick to the back teeth of it in less than a week so I might as well be sick of something that's pants mightn't I.)

I'd never remarked how much the younger Cohen looks like Dustin Hoffman!
Dustin's prolly a better singer mind.

That Mescalero's thing is more boring than Mr Bore the Boring Manager Of Boring (Boring) Industries of Boring, Boringshire. Fook me. Is that what you want to listen to while you eat your own spleen?? :uhoh: :uhoh:

This is what you want, bit of rebel rousing......

That's one of the few I can listen to every day and enjoy, though. I don't think that the best song necessarily is one you could listen to regularly. I've loved Going for Gold for a good 7 or 8 years and it's still a cracker.

Might change it with a bit more thought like.

Do you know, when I went off to chat to the bairn after the first few posts of this thread, I asked her what she would bet against Mr Dibble's having posted a clip of Leonard Rossiter by the next time I logged on. She said, No, you know Mr Dibble too well...no point my betting anything

I love Ibiza. Clash's cover of Every Little Bit Hurts is the one for me though. That and Feel Like Going Home (Charlie Rich).

I like Jose Padilla. He does what DJs should do. He chooses a record, puts it on, then fooks off and lets the artists get on with it.
