You might have a point there Mr PLK

If I give up the seat I've been saving
To some elderly lady or man
Am I being a good boy
Am I your pride and joy
Mother please if your pleased say I am
And if while in the course of my duty
I perform an unfortunate take
Would you punish me so, unbelievably so

Never again will I make that mistake
This feeling inside me could never deny me
The right to be wrong if I choose
And this pleasure I get
From say winning a bet
Is to lose

When I'm drinking my Bonaparte Shandy
Eating more than enough apple pies
Will I glance at my screen and see real human beings starve to death
Right in front of my eyes

Nothing old, nothing new, nothing ventured
Nothing gained, nothing still-born or lost,
Nothing further than proof nothing wilder than youth
Nothing older than time, nothing sweeter than wine
Nothing physically, recklessly, hopelessly blind
Nothing I couldn't say
Nothing why 'cos today
Nothing rhymed

(Instrumental Break)

This feeling inside me could never deny me
The right to be wrong if I choose,
And this pleasure I get
From say winning a bet
Is to lose

Nothing good, nothing bad, nothing ventured
Nothing gained, nothing still-born or lost,
Nothing further than proof nothing wilder than youth
Nothing older than time, nothing sweeter than wine
Nothing physically, recklessly, hopelessly blind
Nothing I couldn't say
Nothing why 'cos today
Nothing rhymed

Gilbert is a genius, he treats songwriting as his 9-5 job. He took his kids to school, went home and sat at his piano and went to work. Had lots of success.

One day he sat down and nothing happened. He couldn't string two words together.

So he wrote a song about not being able to string two words together. Then went and picked his kids up from school.

The result is above.

Have a listen to 'Alone Again Naturally' and think of your old Nanna.

Green Days 'American Idiot' has the most immaculate guitar playing and production I have ever heard recorded. It's like having the bloke stood next to you doing a master class.

Whatever you say about Gilbert, Clair was just so wrong...

The moment I met you, I swear
I felt as if something, somewhere
Had happened to me, which I couldn't see
And then, the moment I met you, again
I knew in my heart that we were friends
It had to be so, it couldn't be no
But try as hard as I might do, I don't know why
You get to me in a way I can't describe
Words mean so little when you look up and smile
I don't care what people say, to me you're more than a child
Oh Clair, Clair

Clair
If ever a moment so rare
Was captured for all to compare
That moment is you in all that you do
But why in spite of our age difference do I cry
Each time I leave you I feel I could die
Nothing means more to me than hearing you say
"I'm going to marry you, will you marry me Uncle Ray"

Oh Clair Clair

Clair
I've told you before don't you dare
Get back into bed
Can't you see that it's late
No you can't have a drink
Oh alright then, but wait just a bit
While I, in an effort to babysit, catch up my breath
What there is left of it
You can be murder at this hour of the day
But in the morning the sun will see my lifetime away
Oh Clair, Clair

Oh Clair

(childish giggling)

:uhoh:

Don't know how serious you meant to be with that MJ, but personally I think the opposite, Clair was his Manager's daughter, who he did babysit for. Having emotions about small children does not automatically make someone a Paedophile! Considering Gordon Mills robbed him off millions I could understand if his opinion of Clair changed over the years.
