I think it will be either Saturday 2nd or Saturday 9th August, but I can't find official confirmation anywhere.

Was wondering this myself yesterday cos I normally won't book a holiday in the footie season til I've seen the fixtures.

After last season's "entertainment" though I've told the wife I'll take her to Spain mid August if she wants to go and just take pot luck whether or not I miss a match.

The link on the tournament thread seems to say that the first game of the season for the Football League is 09 August...

I wonder who the 'Loids will get, for what will be their, err how long is it, successive season in the basement?
