Sounds a good choice to me. Call me old fashioned but voting on performances seems a reasonable measure.

If you're referring to me, I'm not miffed, I just think the whole think was ridiculous. There is no one (except possibly you and Frank) that have said on any post I've seen that they think Humphreys was our best player last season.

I didnt vote.....but if I had......James Brown would have got my vote.
So Humphreys won after a fair vote.
I fail to see why you drama queens have an issue with that.

I haven't seen any voting cards published, anyway I'm not going any further down this road.

Yes, but I really can't be bothered.

So I'm not a 'real fan' then? Why? because I disagree with this psycophancy over an average player.

But plenty have said he deserves player of the century or whatever; that's what seems to be clouding the issue.

apparently the mail marks were done by a combination of folk and they came up with the same result as the players themselves i.e brown.

i was a bit shocked to see that humps didnt make the top 5, he would certainly have made mine, but lets face it there are people what would vote for humphries in a bonny baby contest run by the mail.

even if he wasnt in it.

The 'Bonny Baby' contest in the Mail always makes me laugh

It should really be called the 'Ugly as fook and how pikey' baby competition

In addition, some of the ages go upto about about five years old sctatchinghead

Ah, memories of Butlins!

Bonny Baby contest
Knobbly Knees Contest
Glamorous Granny Contest

And others I have forgotten. Anyone remember them?
