three years ago today we beat Tranmere 2-0 in the play offs.

God we were good that night!

The emotions of the second leg though were horrendous. The penalty shoot out - from feeling so awful to absolute joy. Those were the days...

That was mentioned last night. The other commentator said something like "give me a 2-0 lead any day"

Oh shiit. I watched that on the big screen at the vic.

It was absolutely shocking. We got hammered.

I went to Blackpool, it was a dismal performance, I was only cheered up by the Major dressed as a monkey fighting over a blow up doll with a load of 12 year old kids!

We were awful at Tranmere.

Looking back now you can see how tactically poor Scotty was, an injury to to Micky Barron, everyone in the whole ground would have moved Westwood to right back and put Ben Clark on at centre back, but noooooooooooooo not Barry Chuckle, on comes Tinkler instead, who is not a centre back and rightfully has a stinker.

The relief at the end of winning the penalities was amazing, deserved not.

And McAteer coming off crying too

And Martin Scott stole our flag that night, git!

2 out of 3 play off games that have happened on 13/5 have been mentioned on this thread. I'm stumped why the third hasn't been!

I remember phoning ECG after FT,me almost in tears, just to try and get some of the atmosphere
the scouse git from down the road tried to say summat to me [I was outside see?] and I just growled f uck off to him....dunno why apart from he's the most annoying bloke ever...
