We went to see our lasses sister in Cambridge at the weekend, and she's got a pond full of newts! I haven't seen one since I was about 12!

There were dozens of them. I thought they hid under rocks most of the time, but they were swimming about in full view without a care.

just after dinner they all swim to the edge of the pond to hear the latest gossip. It's the one o'clock newts.
