I think I saw the plans for the construction a while back but not the access routes to which you refer.

The existing building, or at least the frontage, is being retained but possibly in some kind of glass atrium?

Anyway, sod the rugger lot and all the other stuff, just remember who will give you the best job on the groundworks, drainage and externals if you get the contract!

We've got 20 Modules on site, they've been there over 5 years...we used the Access Road through the front gates past the caretakers house and craned over the top, piece of pie!

Why on earth do they need to use any other way in?? sctatchinghead

Regular deliveries of heavy materials will destroy that little access road in about a fortnight. Also, I believe since I went to that college they've built houses on part of the one way access system so trailing heavy plant in and out of a narrow access would be an HSE wet dream. Couple that with pupils sharing the same access and it's pretty much guaranteed an audience with a wig and front page of the Construction News and maybe even a slot on News at Ten.

they can't use the front entrance due to the volume of young people accessing the sixth form and brinkburn youth centre site.
The rugby pitches and football pitches barring ours belong to the sixth form so they can do with them as they wish but agree there will be some argie bargie to come.

I dont understand your post. Are your pitches the rugby club ones? sctatchinghead
The whole playing field area is half owned by the sixth form and the council from the end of the youth club car park up to Catcote road is council with 1 footie pitch behind the baths.
West own nothing they rent or are good willed by the sixth form.
The college footie pitch and rugby pitch are half on council land.

No. Not up there. They'd see it as entertainment.

And their gardens would look better. bbolt

Disclaimer: If anyone has any relations living up there, and thinks a decent standard kicking would put the problematic slurs right, I'll be in the No Rarfs any night at 8 pm. I am fat, have a huge bald head and drink John Smiths.
