would win a fight between a Hippo and a Walrus ?

Been having this debate at work for a week now and still cant agree so its over to you

I would say the Walrus as Hippo's are chronically short sighted

If the Walrus was armed with an SLR (Self loading rifle) then definitely the Walrus.

Does this take place on land, mud, fresh water, or in sea water?

If it's in the sea the hippo will prolly drown before the wally kills him.
If it's on land the walrus hasn't a chance 'cos all he can do is waddle.
If it's in mud the walrus will almost certainly get bogged down.
So fresh water would seem to be the only place you'd get a sensible battle.
Then the question of temperature kicks in. Walruses like it cold and hippos like it warm.

Can't you choose two other animals?

The Rhino would ultimately win as Danny Wilson would take the Hippo off after 60 mins to be replaced by Foley. Foley would come on and be prompty sat on by the rhino.

only if the hippo was older than foley danny has no time for records and stuff
