Their fans livid about the Penalty

I remember that Cleveland Police ensured that we got a sub 3,000 crowd by putting it on a Sunday and making it all ticket stpid This being at a time when we hadn't had a sell out since Victorian times.

They used to make loads of games all ticket for no particular reason stpid

Wasn't it a 12pm kick-off too, so the Millwall fans couldn't get drunk?

Great day :sweeeet:

being full of drink from the night before and forgetting that the clocks had gone forward that day and arriving at york station to get the train back up for the game more than an hour early - which given how farking cold it was wasn't a great deal of fun!!

I got up early in Blackpool that day to travel back for the match after a very messy weekend!

Remember Jonesy scoring the winner right at the end, the first appearance of H'Angus and not much else!

I remember being a ball boy at the rink end and jumping up when Gary Jones scored only to get loads of abuse hurled my way

I remember standing in the Town End bad as a dog from the previous night's drinking. I was by far from being the only one, loads of people were still half cut where I was stood. Flat atmosphere, Millwall were defending very efficiently to get the draw and a replay down at their place, but Pools conjured up that stoppage time winner and there was no coming back for them from that.
