Sky Classics tonight Steptoe and Son, if you have not seen it its worth watching, funny as fook. Did anyone watch the curse of comedy the other week when it was about them? Didn't no that they couldn't stand each other

I didn't even know Wilfred Brambell was homosexual.

I watched it on BBC4 and interesting it was too. Both men were bitter at life for different reasons - Bramble a repressed homesexual and Corbett for being typecast in his Steptoe role. In his younger days Corbett was touted as one of the shining lights of this countrys acting talent and was even called the British Brando by some. Good stuff.

I enjoyed the episode when he had the Flash washing up powder covering his bits in the bath, also the one where they had sun glasses on there greyhound
