I agree TPP.

Brown was understandably off the pace seen as he'd been out for seven weeks. He's class so he obviously showed in flashes but a match fit James Brown would have scored a hat-trick yesterday. He's got to play up front from now on, he's capable of scoring a bag full. Brown and Porter has the potential to be better than Boyd and Porter.

Onto the Norwich thing I very much doubt they'd be watching Browny baring in mind he's been out injured.

It seems a long way to come to watch a player who has played next to f*ck all in the last 2 and a half months. I'd sooner Brownie was upfront, I have always preferred him there; for me he is the most natural goalscorer we have and given how hard they are to find at this level I think he is wasted on the wings.

Liddle has been linked with Norwich too but he hasn't even proved himself in League One and I think another step up would be detrimental to a talented footballer.

If they are looking for a centre half then they'd have been impressed with Clarky but I can't imagine any club coming to Pools to look at stealing a centre half.
