I'm puzzled

Flicking between channels, and just watching Al Murray pub landlord, Nicky Clark(?), one of his guests, a 'hairdresser' to the stars and the lads like Jonny, has been awarded an OBE for Gods sake

Now I'm not really a fan of OBE's, KBE's etc etc, but if they are going to be given, should they be awarded to barbers?

Magic innit, 'services to hairdressing'.......wonder if he got a commendation for showing bravery under fire when the curling tongs took a direct hit... :roll:

It's like a war zone in a hairdressers when a cut and blow dry goes wrong, especially when it is a blue rinse

The price of a haircut nowadays I wouldn't give them an OBE

It's one of the main reasons that the honours system is completely farcical and devalued. An OBE for cutting hair FFS!!!

The ironic thing is, we live in a society where people like this get more rerspect than than the really deserving people. Have you noticed when theses awards come out, it's usually some one either high up in business or local government who cops it for just ...being there. then there's always the token 'worker' who gets one for services to bleach siphoning .....or a postmaster.
