Agreed. I love watching Mackay play and he'll scare the sh*t out of defenders, his game needs a lot of tweaking but hardly surprising given the way he has entered the proffesional leagues.

Last night he was excellent, he took his goal well, he'll be disappointed with the sitter he missed, he missed one just before where he had more time on the ball than he realised, his turn and shot in the second half was a fantastic bit of skill and the way he ripped the defender to bits for the cross which saw Sweeney get injured was Ronaldoesque.

If he keeps getting good service from the likes of Sweens, Liddle, Monkey and Joel then he'll continue to rip teams to bits.

It is great to see him getting a run in the side. He is definitely raw potential, but already he's showing signs of massive improvement after just a few starts.

He's the type of player we need at Pools, not 30 years plus ex Premiership players who have more money than they'll ever need and are just killing time before they start their life after football.

He must be loving it at the moment as well, from leisure centre to scoring goals in the football league, he is tyre boy.
