Why should they be changing? The team picked itself to-day.

But I'm glad I've arranged to go to Tranmere

i still want wilson out, 3 of the 4 goalscorers today have been dropped/not played very frequently this season, i'm not going to get carried away by two wins. his team selection against bournemouth last week was beyond belief, and barker would have played another 90 mns today had he not been injured, and it would have been long high balls in the wind again.

probably an emergency loan for barker as we have no strikers

He still needs to go after what he said about Monkhouse, McCunnie and Porter in the mail after the Oldham game. He still thinks he was picking the right team before. banghead

If he picks a team of:

ALB

McCunnie
Nelson
Collins
Humphreys

Brown (Sweeney)
Sweeney (Boland)
Liddle
Monkhouse

Porter
Mackay

Then he can stay.

I just hope that Mr Wilson has learned from his mistakes, it seems to have taken him forever to do so. Why did it take him so long to realise the fukking obvious....?

no. we'll finish mid table, whjether you want to blame some of the easy fixtures we have left or not is up to you. but you can't blame wilson for making wrong choices, bad signings and losing without giving him some credit for making the right choices,a good signing(collins) and winning a couple when it actually happens.
I'm not saying for a minute that wilson is a hero just that I can't see reasons for sacking him given the sparcity of candidates to replace him. it's ok wanting a clearout but where's the money cominf from to pay for getting rid and then getting replacements.

He was forced into changes that made us win 2 on the bounce and keep 2 clean sheets. How anyone can defend the bloke is beyond me!

His arrogance in picking "his" team has cost us a good chance of a play off place this season. Simple as that.

Still out for me - we could win every game from now until the end of the season & it wouldn't make any difference. I have no confidence in him any more banghead

And that is what worries me the most, how long will it last before we see his "selection" again?

He can't drop Monkhouse, McCunnie and Porter but the first oppertunity he gets then he will and it pains me to see him treat some of our better players so badly. Monkhouse won't take the kind of crap he's getting so he'll be off and Porter is missing home and will be sick and tired of the way he's treated so he'll be off. I am presuming that McCunnie came here for a challenge but so far he's not been allowed to give it a real go (he was doing very well until Wilson ruined it for him) so he might go as well.

If you treat players badly then they will leave as simple as that and I'm not just talking about not picking them. I'm talking about criticising them in the press.

On those two points....yes you can blame him for getting things wrong, it's called 'life' a.k.a the real world and if you do it in any other job; i.e. fail to you use your employers best assets for the maximum return, you eventually get the sack.....Point two, 'SPARCITY OF CANDIDIATES' ...hmmm are you telling me there's suddenly a nationwide shortage of suitable managers, why not just give him the job for life then....?
