There used to be a little shop opposite the brewery down the streets many years ago that sold its home made wine now that was nice cant see it still being there talking 10-20 years ago

Mutt, Can't remember the name of the shop (might of been Garforths) But the guy how owned it was Stevie Garforth and his son Ian plus the two lovely Alsatian dogs right beauties they were lovely coats on them fine posture,Stevie used to supply all the sprits and wine to all the social clubs and pubs in Teesside and east Durham area, made quite a lot of money from doing so.
Ian opened quite a lot of fruit and veg shops in the town but has recently sold up and move to Spain

His Dad (Garforth snr.) was once a Bobby I believe!!!! :sweeeet: :grin:
