Saw the goals this morning on ITV Meridian "The Championship". That WAS NEVER a sending off - absolutely disgraceful refereeing - standard of refereeing this year in L1 absolutely apalling, if he sent McCunnie OFF, HE'S GOT TO SEND THEIR MAN OFF AS WELL.

Only thing I will criticise, maybe the defence could have done better before the penalty.

I'm still wondering what the funny thing is about your signature... it was a perfectly reasonable thing to say at the time, unless you gain your repertoire of jokes from a mixture of hindsight and luck

I'm still wondering how anyone who had any sort of basic grasp of the laws of football would think that McCunnie shouldn't have been sent off, it's as cut and dry as you'll ever see.

Similarity for our penalty from the wide position Porter was in it clearly isn't a red. Maybe he should have been booked but that's all.

On the scale of red cards.

If 5 is a guaranteed yellow and 8 is a guaranteed red, McCunnies was a 7. So it was more a red than a yellow.

There's was a 6. So it was more of a yellow than a red.

I would have said ours was an 8. I simply don't see how the ref could NOT have sent McCunnie off. As for theirs, well there wasn't a denial of goalscoring opportunity so there wasn't a red card. After that, what? It wasn't a particularly bad foul; Porter was just too quick for him. I didn't see it as a yellow card offence, the penalty was punishment enough. It's not just a case of "it wasn't a red card so it must be a yellow".

I thought the referee had a poor game, but I also thought he called both penalty incidents perfectly.

What I'm trying to say...how many times do you see them given but no red? I'd say 70% to 80% of the times they would be a red. That's how my scale works, not on whether it's a red.

As for theirs, I still think it was a yellow though. It wasn't a red but I'll moan just for the sake of it!

If the ref had of had a better game then less people would be complaining about their player not getting a yellow.

Some of the incidents that concerned me more:
Was seeing a Porter get dragged to the floor on the edge of the box and not getting a free kick.
Monkhouse getting a very clumsy kick to the face and no warning or booking.
And the fact that he turned away every time we were fouled but was quick to pull us up.
And the amount of times he had words with Monkhouse...what for?

McCunnies was a 100 out of 100 red as soon as he give a foul. Moore was clean through 10 yards from goal.

I'd be amazed to see any instance of a red card not being shown in that scenario.

I'd be quite happy for that to be called 'frivolous' on appeal
