... tappy football, lacking conviction, toothless upfront and a midfield that after the substitutions looked like a pack of headless chickens, all running .... but in no particular direction. IMPOTENT.

We didn't seem to have one player tonight who actually looked as if they wanted to run at and beat their man. Half arsed passing by half paced players which usually ended up with a long punt forward. It was crap. We had no width as Sweeney and Thompson are pure and simply not wingers, Boland is looking increasingly past it and Godwin Antwi is not a right-back. Nearly every time Barker got the ball he held it up, stopping any chance of flowing football. There has to be some variation! Budtz I feel sorry for, surely he knows he isn't good enough? An all round poor performance against a team we really should be beating.

Finally,Tom Craddock; you're an old friend but when you pull on a Pools shirt actually look as if you can be arsed to play mate. You didn't seem to want to know.

this manager cannot be in charge next season, simple as. If he is, a lot of people won't be renewing season tickets

The goal came from Craddocks mistake...Sweeny looked like a combine harvester stuck in top gear with the brakes shot.....all speed and flailng...and sorry, but Foley has a few tricks and acouple of neat touches but that does not compensate for his other failings. Thomson looked as though he was playing in a pre season friendly, buit it was his last game and he had only came to get fit  ... I give up

You were talking about a play - off spot before the game. stpid bbolt

but craddock seemed to have given up on it before it left the aussies boot. indeed craddock did that a few times, at one point inexplicably slowing down almost deliberately to let a ball run out of play for a throw to northampton.

I remember that and it was at that point me and Mr.Parmo told him....quite politely....to catch the next Train to the town of Darlington!!!! :sweeeet: :sweeeet:

Barker does fall over a lot doesn't he?

and as we noticed before the goal, they had a shot wide that Budtz dived for but if it had been on target he'd have been no where near it....Wilson should take him out of the firing line.

oh, and pick Monkhouse
