Hats off to Mr Blatter for both rubbishing the premierships plan for a 39th global game and also for planning to force all football clubs to field at least four home grown players by next august. clappp

Both good sense in my eyes. The development of our own young players should be paramount and not financial profit.

May I also suggest that the amount of money that the premiership trickles down to clubs like Pools (£63,000) is a shameful amount. How can they sit idly by, awash with cash, and watch lower league clubs fade away and die? Rant over... rage

the reason they wanted this extra game was,nt to take it to the overseas fans it was to make up for the empty seats at their own grounds, young tom posted a few days ago about how he was at the borer match and was picked up by the tv cameras he was surrounded by empty seats i thought he was at darlo

don't hold fookin blatter up as someone with the interests of the game at heart. the man is a bully and an autocrat of the highest order. his hatred of all things to do with the english game is behind this, and becomes clearer every time he passes comment on us. his threat to make sure we don't get the 2018 world cup is pure bully boy tactics, the two are entirely unconnected but it give old sepp a stick to beat us with. i think the plan's a non-starter anyway (and a stupid, cash-driven fookin idea by scudamore a bloke with all the knowledge of football of my left knacker), but for blatter to 'hold us to ransom' over it is crass. this is the bloke, remember, who wanted to liven up the women's game by making their shorts shorter stpid. he's a fookwit who will shaft us at every opportunity. blastt

Seems a reasonable idea to me.

On the wider issue; don't forget that he is a black shirt wearing, Jew gassing, Poland invading Nazi, so he's unlikely to be supportive of the country that halted his daddy's march towards a world reich.

He isnt holding US to ransom. He is holding the premiershit to ransom., They have absolutely nothing in common wih US. Nothing whatsoever.

So therefore whoever fooks off the premiershit is a friend of ours. A mad, lunatic friend I accept, but in this case a friend nonetheless.

sorry mate, but he is holding football in this country to ransom. it's not just the premiershit that would benefit from having the world cup here. millions of people would love to see a major tournament here again, and the country would benefit massively in financial terms. blatter is bounder, and is using bullying tactics to ensure that he, i effect, controls the world of soccerball.

Sepp Blatter (the man who says FIFA is more powerful than the UN -no I didn't make it up) would be doing us a favour if he blocked the world cup here.

Firstly, have a look at the Olympics in London. Reasonable estimates mean 10bn quid down the shitter, so double that. Who pays?? Me and you only not so much me. Most of it to 'consultants' and these days I am a consultant. It's a long way of writing bounder.

Secondly, all the cash would go to eight clubs. Guess who?? Yep....

Thirdly. Guess where the three last matches would be played. Aye...Wembley. Guess how many seats go to corporate entertainment??

It'll be played here in China anyway so forget it. rolfl clappp rolfl

Olympics...what a boring waste of dosh. Hordes of lycra clad loons taking part in tedious 'sporting' disciplines ....while the rest of the countries' grass roots sport is shafted to pay for it.

And exactly the same will happen if we get the world cup. They'll demolish Brentford, Leyton Orient, Gillingham, Barnet and Millwalls grounds just to make car parks for the fookin' thing.
