Just been watching Liverpool beat Ipswich Town 2 - 0 from February 12th 1983.

Liverpool with this win went 15 points clear at the top of the "First Division".

A very stark contrast to the same weekend 25 years later - a Cup defeat to Barnsley - surely unthinkable, surely the end of Benitez !

Also watching Celtic Vs. Aberdeen - Eric Black's just equalised for Aberdeen from a Sir Neale Cooper cross and he's just started the move to pull them in front.

Grimsby also beat Chelsea in the "Second Division" 25 years ago this weekend - unthinkable today.

Coventry City vs Manchester City - Coventry on the verge of Europe with Ian Butterworth wearing No. 4 !!! clappp :grin: rolfl :laugh:
