Given the resources of the respective clubs in League One this season, something we can't expect to match or come anywhere near to matching, I think we are having a reasonable season. Luton and Bournemouth (and Leeds to an extent) are paying the price for overstretching themselves. There are far bigger clubs than us (bigger in terms of revenue and turnover) who would love to be in as good a shape as Pools are both financially and in terms of their place in the football pyramid. Get off Wilson's back. rolf

we are having an excellent season.

no shame in losing to big spending giants like walsall, gillingham, yeovil, cheltenham, brighton etc.

given our rescources of course.

and to be fair the other 3 clubs that came up with us have spent small fortunes on players so it no great shock to see them all above us.

walsall for instance havent sold 3 or 4 first team regulars this season or brought in loan players that score goals.

no sir. all in all i am delighted with the season thus far. wilson has done a marvellous job. im thinking of sending him half my salary by way of thanks.

very positive post mr chip are you starting to mellow in your middle age sctatchinghead
