I see from the official club site that Godwin has been getting involved with the Brus Youth Project.

Now this lad is only on loan to us, has taken some stick for his performances on the field but virtually every time there is some "community thingy" going on he's there getting involved.

I don't think anyone could blame him for not getting involved, so top marks young man, you deserve to succeed in your profession.

Yeah I spotted him at the reserves, having a chat with Jamie McCunnie just before the start of the game.

I was impressed with him after the Luton game when he stood next to the tunnel after the final whistle to congratulate every single Pools player even though he didn't make the 16. I'd love to see him do great in the last 15 games so his football leaves a better impression on us (like it did early doors) but whatever a happens his attitude and commitment seems first class.

All very good... but a compassionate and sociable nature is not much use at corners. I'd swop it for a complete and utter bastard who can defend well.
