We could have this perennial loser at the helm..

Why can't the fool just admit he isn't a good manager?

Why is there never any fresh faces turn up as managers just the same people moving from club to club.

Fresh faces?

Like Neale Cooper?

Or Mike Newell?

Or Martin Scott?

there's loads of good managers in the Conference, or so it seems to me. Fair play to Yeovil, then Bristol City for giving someone like Gary Johnson his chance in the League. I'm willing to bet though, that when the next job such as Wolves or somebody comes up, someone like Robson would be appointed by their clueless directors rather than someone like Johnson.
Cloughy was 100% correct about the chapter in his book showing the average director's knowledge of football.
Sheff U fans on the whole were dismayed when he was appointed, and the board couldn't see why. How stupid they are for appointing him, they are so out of touch they will probably be surprised at his latest failure.

It was actually Len Shackleton Mr.Parmo....

"He used his nickname, "The Clown Prince of Football", in 1956 for his autobiography. One chapter of that book was The Average Director's Knowledge of Football. It consisted of a
single blank page."

I can't believe Mr.Parmo has got something wrong/mixed-up re.Football!!!!

It's the first I've ever known it to happen....it's like Mr.ElvisGlasses getting something wrong about Football!!!!

I'm sure Cloughy did similar, although I knew of Shackleton's disdain for the butchers, bakers and candlestick makers also!!!!
