Was it a red card or not as I'm confused?

Willie Boland did the same vs. Brighton and got sent off.
Accrington player did it to Nelson last season and got sent off.

Southend player does it and gets a yellow?

It was nothing but a bit of petulance. Budtz twatted their player then Nelse also give him a big bump. As Budtz ran past their player to kick the ball out, he stuck out his foot for Budtz to trip over. It would have been ridiculou had he have been sent off.

So the above two were yellow cards?

fair play to you lads though for paying all that money to go and watch them get beat again. I've had my belly full of them, so to speak. I was talking to a diehard Pools fan last night in Vibes and he feels exactly the same about this away malaise as I do. If the players won't/can't/don't want to pull their fingers out and show some bottle, then why should I part with my cash on their accounts?
It's not going to happen. I want to SEE evidence about being "up for it", not hear about it from Humphreys and Nelson in the Hartlepool Mail on a Friday.

The only way you'll see evidence Mr parmopooly is to go, they were up for it yesterday, they deserved to go in front and were looking comfortable. I know I'll get slagged for this but fans favourite  Porter give away good possesion whilst we were on top in the second half and as a result turned a good attacking move into the whole team being put onto the back foot, as a result equaliser crowd lifted and the rest they say is history.

I've been to hundreds of away games spanning 25 years, I've already seen the evidence many times.......................

I really hate to agree but he's dead right. Their equaliser was as a direct result of a poor pass by Porter.

I know you have Mr Parmopooly, I've seen you at all of them, but you can't say you want to see evidence of fight etc before you go back, because if that's the case you'll never go back sctatchinghead
We played well yesterday end of.

Played well eh?

Just like Luton Leeds, Forest, Swansea, and Carlisle away this season then? Remind me how many points we've picked up 'playing well' like yesterday. People are sick of the hard luck stories and our away form is in danger of losing us a place in this league.

I wouldn't call the second goal we conceded yesterday playing well either is was scandalous goal for a professional football team to concede the lad was stood on his own next to wall ten yards from goal then beat the keeper at the near post....
