There's a Hartlepool United Executive Committee within the Council. Its last recorded meeting was on 1 Nov 2007. See for agenda and minutes (not that the Politburo reveals any details):

Mind you, if any councillor up for election had a season ticket or even supported another team, they could kiss my vote goodbye.

the most important issue of hartlepool united it is well stated how much importance i,o,r have put on purchasing the ground.
the council continue to drag there feet why?"????
after 10 years of continued investment what reason do the council have to question this purchase ,
do the deal and allow hartlepool united to move on to the next level on and off the field banghead

Our local councillors never cease to fill me with the cold damp fog of f*****g inertia...they are true masters of parish pump politics. They are the thing that holds the town back, we seem to be gripped in a stifling embrace by a faceless group of political head scratchers who are mesmerised by the banal and the just plain boring fine detail of party politics...which puts party before electorate.
Just sell the club the ground and we can move on to the next level.
