It is not all about the Premier League, there is plenty of life in them there lower divisions - and the way Stoke are playing at the moment they might be at the top table next season.

And talking of life outside the Premier League, Stockport have accepted a bid from Leeds for striker Anthony Elding.

Wilson said he had lodged bids for 5 players.

How do we know that they are realistic and not just bolox to try and placate the fans?

Has he got bids in for Rooney, Torres, Terry, Carragher and Elding? sctatchinghead

True.

But IF we've been after him for a while and haggling over a daft 10k here or there then who is to blame if we miss out due to arsing around cos Leeds' previous manager didn't seem to be interested in the guy.

He probably won't get his game at Leeds, but what does he care, he'll double his wage over night.

It doubt it will be 10k, I reckon Leeds will have out bid us by a good 50k or so.

Maybe so, but I was meaning what Stockport were hoping to get before a club with Leeds spending power came in for him.

I can't understand last-minute sales, if there's no time to spend the proceeds.

That'll be why Wilson didn't bother getting a fee for Bullock!
