Post subject: Last night and my thoughts in general

I can take it when Pools get beat I'm a realist, we are going to lose games what I won't accept as a Pools fan is us losing like we did last night. I can't remember the last time I watched Pools lose like that we got fooking tortured it should/could have 7 or 8 in the second half alone we didn't even compete with Doncaster. The most worrying aspect of the whole evening was that it was so glaringly obvious were the problems originated all night our left hand side. Coppinger had the better of Humphreys all night and the full back was also a decent player who overlapped at will. Humphreys got tortured throughout the night but then again he was literally having to mark two players all of the time he must have hated every minute of that game. He had no protection at all from Foley who is simply too small to play against a team like Donny, couldn't Wilson see this? He is paying Elliott a hefty wage and whatever people think of the lad to leave him on the bench last night was absurd. Was he expecting a call from his US estate agent!? They were a good side who exploited the weakness to the full but it hardly took a graduate in quantum physics to work it out.

I also felt sorry for our other 'full back' Sweeney who was picked to try and win headers against a centre forward playing wide left in McCammon. Sweeney emerged from the game with immense credit offer that lad a decent contract because his attitude is spot on we don't want to lose people like him. It is laughable that we now have our best attacking box to box midfielder playing right back when Micky Barron the only talker capable of organising the back four has been ignored all season. Ridiculous.

This comment leaves me baffled; "Once they got the second goal they threw everything at us but if we'd defended as doggedly all night as we did at 2-0 down we could have been in with a chance." No Danny we got absolutely humiliated after the second goal they were playing like there wasn't an opposing team on the field. Poor finishing is not 'dogged defending' I suppose Lee-Barratt made a couple of good saves and Sweeney cleared off the line a couple of times but on each occasion they should have scored. Anyway fook 'dogged defending' we didn't have a shot on target all night and didn't have a single shot in the second half. How do you expect to get anything out of game when that is the case?

The away fans turned against Wilson last night because we were given nothing, absolutely jack shit to shout about. We will not get another point away from home all season on that form. I almost felt apathetic after we went 1-0 down, we'd lost we weren't going to score playing Joel up front on his own. Barker has his best game for weeks against Southend and finally get's left out rolfl We aren't good enough defensively to go to a place like Doncaster and play 4-5-1 to get a point.

I'm not just to blame Wilson for it all a few of the players need a serious reality check last nights Mail headline for example with McCunnie saying we could still get into the play-offs stpid 1 away point from 24 Jamie, 1 win in 9. Statements like that just make you look daft. Especially when you put in a performance like that.

I noticed we've signed nobody again today if we don't tommorrow I think we're totally fooked as we aren't good enough. Please the players and management of Hartlepool United prove me wrong as the way you are playing makes me think something is totally wrong in that camp. Where is the fight? Where is this so called 'team spirit'?

I'm going to stop now but I'm seriously pissed off at the moment, I wonder if ALL the players are as bothered?

We know realistically that we cannot get in the play-offs but considering it IS the Mail:
a) Words could'v been put in his mouth
b) He could've been told to say it
c) They have got "still get in play-offs" from "stay up"

cracking post, PJ Poolie. If they don't take notice of something like that, then they're not bothered after all.
