Anyone had any dealings with this, two people i know have had letters saying they owe thousands. It seems like another cock up to me, both are self employed im not sure if this has something to do with it. It puts you off enquiring about things when you may be asked to pay it back

Just jointly applied for working tax credit with the mrs and am allowed the grand total of nothing.

Family tax credit is more complicated and I get the feeling that by next april I'll owe them money cos the payments don't add up.

Don't you just love our countries systems:

You work you pay tax you help out those that don't work and don't pay tax, as a thank you we'll screw you over and you owe us more next yr.

I've had a company car for the last 4 yrs and they've never got the amount of tax I pay on it right.

The rant could go on but I can feel myself getting wound up so I'll end it here f***ing inland revenue
