dont tell me you are not on the mailing list

Hi Folks,

Thank God for Hartlepool United, their 12 goal, nine point, John Daly inspired week was the one bright spot on the horizon last weekend. Just shows what a change around can happen with a little bit of patience. On previous weeks shows some Poolies were calling for Danny Wilson's head. Now what?

The Boro go from bad to worse, from EUFA Cup finalists to relegation prospects in a mere four months. The fans are not yet pannicking, but the next two home games are vital if we are not going to get sucked into the mire.

Darlo, well what is going on, looks like those who wanted Hodgy out are going to have their way. For those of you who tuned into football Saturday you would have heard the exclusive call from Darlington F C 's pr man Graham Robb, who went to the end of the earth to big up the chairman, but not really say anything about Hodgy that the press statement did not. The most appauling thing was that in the club's official pres release Hodgy's name was twice spelt incorrectly as HODGESON, that may be a simple mistake or does it show the contempt in which they hold the Manager??

On a personal front I covered Marske United's F A Cup tie against Skelmersdale United and kept up my unenviable record, since I returned from Spain, I have seen 5 games and our local sides have not won one and not even scored a goal. Any of you prepared to pay me to stay away.!!!!!

On the show front, despite Boro playing live, it was probably as busy as ever, we had Boro fans on live from Bramhall Lane at half time, Poolies gloating and Darlo fans showing mixed emotions about David Hodgson. Let's face it he ain't coming back, so who is the next manager going to be ??

My half time music query with a main course meal for two at Jo Rigatonnis to give away has died a bit the last two weeks, perhaps we need to change it around if you are not interested. Let me know!!!!!

This week, the show has competition from the England v Macedonia game, but you can still watch the game and listen to the show.

I hope to have a couple of calls from local fans who have set up businesses to help fellow fans, I am keen for anybody to do this as it is essential that the show is the fans show. If you are running coaches etc to away games, come on air and let us know times, booking arrangements etc. The fanzines and the fans websites mesage boards are featured regularly, so let me know what the mood of the fans is and what's going on.

The two guys I hope to have on the show are Paul Radigan, who runs Dimples Riverside Day Nursery, a Yakuba shot on goal away from the ground, they offer the chance for fans to leave their siblings with them, while you suffer, sorry watch a Boro game, he can be contacted on 01642 227778.

Also, Scott Jackson, who can be contacted on http://www.footballrooms.co.uk , he runs a website that caters for all fans and helps with transport and accomodation for grounds throughout England and Scotland.

My good friend Judith at http://www.bluechimpcompany.co.uk is working on designing tee shirts for Darlo and Poolies, if they match the quality and price of the " Born again Smoggy" shirts then they will be a steal.

The Song for Boro item has died a little of late with the performances on the field. The Boro fans though have been giving tremendous vocal support despite the performances and the Twe12th man meet next Thursday at Dr.Brown's in the Boro at 7pm, all fans welcome to discuss other ways of improving the atmosphere at the Riverside.

This week's gazette article, sees me having a go at the cheats who are blighting the game, it's ironic that the worst case of diving happens in a week when http://www.comeonboro.com launch their "Cheat of the week" feature. The site includes the true feelings of Boro fans and like Darlo Uncovered and Pools The Bunker, tells it the way it is. Should have a parental control button.

Well folks that's all for this week, at least the Boro can't lose this weekend.

Keep the emails flying in and more importantly pick up the phone this Saturday, don't worry about the cost, we ring ring you back, let me know your views on everything that is Tees Valley football.

Best Wishes
:sweet:

Pot, kettle grimy arse as far as I'm concerned.
