Sweeney hasn`t signed a contract......... Give the lad what he is worth then, give him what that boring twat Boland gets, then maybe he will sign a contract......

I can`t believe Sweens is going and Boland is going to stay, I am bored shitless watching us play at the moment, least Sweens gives us a bit of something going forward.......

I am really thinking of stopping going to the games now.......

I pay good money to be entertained, and watching the likes of Boland, Barker and elliott etc does not entertain me....

I think Danny Wilson as had his time at this club and it is now time for him to go.........

These players you mention were not on the pitch... Get over yaself Tuesday was entertaining we just need to sort defence..

Good times ahead

1/ Not great amounts, but not the worst I've seen.

2/ Biased question - I've said before in another topic, I like Boland. I don't like Barker but he's still top scorer, penalties or not. Elliott is very inconsistent, worse more recently.

And by week in week out are you referring to weekends only? Boland and Elliott didn't play, and Barker scored and hit the bar.

3/ Boland. I think you forget that Sweeney has had some awful games. Plus he's not really done anything since 2005.

4/ He did a fantastic job last year and has struggled recently. I don't think we're automatically entitled to constant promotion battles, and I'm happy to finish where we're placed now. The points difference is small at both ends and everyone's beating each other. I think there are too many teams worse than us this season to see us go back down. Even if we did, we'd paralyze League Two again, it gets worse every year.

it may have nowt to do with money, jim prov reffused because he wanted a gurantee of the number1 shirt, to b first choice keeper, mayb sweens wanted a similar gurantee of a place, and thinks he can get a chance of that at another club....mayb not we dont know, its his choice not to sign, ......

as ripper has said on other threads about other working folk, why winge about money or working conditions, hours etc, if you dont like were you work go somewhere else, thats alll the lad is doing, and HUFC are letting him take his chance good look to him, lets move on and back those that do want to play for us.......

regardless of how unhappy I have been for a lot of the games recently, I fail to see how anybody could say Tuesday's game wasn't entertaining. Despite the defensive failings, I certainly enjoyed the match as a spectacle.

Sweeney has probably been offered a contract based on his performances over the last few years where he has done diddly squat hence why he has turned it down. It wouldn't be the end of the world if we lost him but I'd sooner we kept him and developed him as he has the makings of an excellent player.
