A vital, vital 3 points first and foremost.

I thought we played some great stuff going forward, Joel & Browny ran them ragged at times. I also thought the defense played pretty well (up until the last 10 mins).

ALB - 6 - was much better although he needs to learn to command the box much better.

McCunnie - 6 - played well but looked rusty after a long lay-off

Humphs - 6 - gave his all as usual, steady away all game.

Antwi - 6 - thought he played ok but lets the ball bounce way too often and doent command often enough.

Nelson - 7 - Played much better although clearly still lacking in confidence.

Robson - 6 - tried hard but no final ball.

Liddle - 9 - Outstanding at times and in the 2nd half ran the show

Thompson - 7 - was average 1st half and good in the 2nd. some stray passes but some beauties too.

Brown - 9.5 - League 1's answer to Ronaldo, tricks & goals galore, outstanding, worth one mil at the very least.

Barker - 6.5 - threw himself at everything, scored (a pen!!!!) his brain is there but his legs arent, good player in his day but not now. A younger more mobile Barker would have had at least 2 today.

MOM was between Brown & Liddle for me although Browny just edges it i think

All in all a very positive result, although the defense still needs more work.

**EDIT** cant believe i forgot bout Joel!!!! He gets a 9, outstanding vision and my fave EVER player, hit the bar, set up at least one goal, maybe 2, OUTSTANDING!!!

alb, assured compared to friday but still a long way to go, still a breath of fresh air after budtz.

humphreys, mccunnie, nelson - steady but nowt flash. humps better of the three.

antwi - once again a calamity, i panic every time the ball goes near him, the man is a serious liability.

thompson - nowt flash but give him a chance, ran out of steam.

liddle - awesome, best player on the park. needs to be consistant though.

brown, robson - good to see a bit of pace on both wings, brown better of the two and took goals well, both made full backs earn their crust tonight.

porter - added pace and guile to the attack and unlucky to hit the bar when he should have scored, look forward to him gettin a run in the side.

barker - as usual ran himself stupid for twenty minutes and was virtually ineffective for the rest of the game, reason why he shouldn't start and be used from the bench if at all.(credit for a well taken penalty)

overall a better performance than friday, more steady but worrying how we conceded 3 soft goals, maybe only me but all 3 seemed to have something to do with antwi!!!
