In a nutshell: Brilliant going forward, suspect at the back.

The center backs were a bit iffy at times but Nelson is a great player and I'm sure he'll be back on form soon. But still it does worry me. On a positive note, ALB was much better than he was last time. I always see the signing of Butdz and ALB as Jumble Sale signings but Wilson may have a rought diamond as far as ALB.

Porter and Brown were superb. Has there ever been a player more deserving of a goal than Porter was tonight? Brown was back to his best as well. We are a different team with Porter and Brown playing.

Liddle was great and Sweeney was hungry when he came on and I'm happy to see him score. As for Thompson...to be honest I didn't notice him much...perhaps he's lacking match fitness? I was told that he's a free kick expert...I'd like to see Humphreys and Liddle given the oppertunity to take the odd free kick this season, something neither have been allowed to do.

Final Note: We've not played well for two matches in a row for a very long time...so it's about time we put that right.

Oooooh...I forgot to say...Robson did well again. Has he put those jitters behind him and found some confidence. He's a much more assured player in the last two games...
